For any business people out there, wondering how much design should cost, The Design Council issued the following design cost guidelines in 2005, and things haven’t changed much since:
FREELANCE:
Designers fresh from college: £200-400 a day
Experienced designers: £500-800 a day
SMALL AGENCIES (up to 5 staff):
Designers: £400-800 a day
Principal designers: up to £1,000 a day
